DESCRIPTION:From Fame to Jar\nWorkshop on the basics of bee keeping and how to harvest honey.\nFree Community Event\nJoin the YYCMG and Jude Sutherland in a special basics of bee keeping event! \nFriday\, 11th November @ 1pm\nDue to popular demand\, local bee Queen\, Jude Sutherland is presenting another amazing bee keeping workshop as part of the Yarra Yarra Catchment Management Groups State NRM project – The Benefits of Pollinators in Broad Acre Cropping Ecosystems. \nIn this workshop Jude will be presenting the basics of harvesting honey\, from hive frame to honey jar and all the steps in between; including a demonstration on how to use the YYCMG’s community honey spinner.\nFree tastings of Jude’s delicious golden wheatbelt honey might also be arranged! \nRSVP’s preferred. \nThis project is supported by funding from the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program Community Stewardship Grant 2019.
