Agrow AD130 Pasture Seeder

$250 per day

In 2019 the YYCMG in partnership with the Mount Gibson Mining Benefit Trust, the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council, and the Carnamah LCDC purchased the Agrow AD130 Seed Drill to be utilised by landholders to direct seed perennial pastures and revegetate areas of land that are no longer productive.

The hire fee covers the equipment maintenance and insurance payments.
The AD130 is compact and durable, it can be towed behind a ute for transport and a tractor for operation. This model is perfect for sowing smaller pastures, while remaining durable, effective with a straight forward calibration, operation and maintenance schedule.

300-385L dual hoppers for seed and fertiliser segregation.
16 or 20 sowing rows with a 2.4-3m working width.
CAT2 three-point linkage or trailing hydraulic lift option.
High (620mm) under frame clearance and wide (440mm) toolbar spacing.

Bait Layer

$40 per day

With funding assistance from the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council the YYCMG were able to purchase a Nickolai Engineering Rabbit Bait Layer in 2019.
This piece of equipment is available for community hire – fees charged are allocated to its maintenance and insurance payments.

Tractor Mounted Tree Planter

$100 per day

Our tree planter is a useful tool to assist in the efficient planting of large quantities of trees or seedlings. This double tray, tractor mounted tree planting machine is easily towed and is able to assist in planting 3000-5000 seedlings per day in uncultivated soil.
The plough head digs a channel for planting and the operator just needs to drop the tube stock into the chute at the desired distance. The packing wheels run along the ground, closing the channel after planting.
Thanks to the WA College of Agriculture in Morawa it now features a comfortable padded operator seat!
